ISRO(Indian Space Research Organization ) set world record on 15 February at 9:28am. After putting 104 satellite into the orbit successfully.One year ago Russia was holding record of 37 Satellite.
When India saw dream of space Research Organization, then Indian government established indian national committee (INCOSPAR)in 1962. Indian Space Organization’s came into existence in 1969 and all credit goes to Dr. Vikram Sarabhai and Former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who understood the importance of space technology for nation.
Key points about 104 Satellites:-
- It was the 39th mission of ISRO
- PSLV C-37 was used for launch
- Carring total 104 Satellites and weight is 1378 kg
- Cartosat-2 weight is 714 kg
- ISRO’S Nano Satellites INS-1A. (8.4 kg) and INS-1B(9.4kg)
- Satellite placed 506 km above earth into sun-synchronus orbit
- 101 Satellites are from other 6 countries and all are nano
- Work of Satellites will be Remote Sensing,track ships,click image of earth every day
